How can I renewe the certificate

Hi everyone, due to a 404 error on my site this could not automatically be renewed by Let's Encrypt. I solved this so it can be renewed. Now I get mails that I must do that myself (expires in 6 days now). But I really don't know how to do this in my Wordpress site. Please help, because now my customers can no longer go to my site without a security message :frowning:

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. crt.sh | example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is: www.cadstudiogerjo.nl

I ran this command: -

It produced this output: -

My web server is (include version):

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): wordpress 6.1.1

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: yourhosting

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don't know): no

I'm using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): wordpress 6.1.1

The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you're using Certbot):-

Welcome to the community @cadstudiogerjo

Without knowing the exact error your site visitors get I will make a good guess.

Your most recent renewal only got a cert with your cadstudiogerjo.nl in it and does not have your www subdomain in it like you had in prior certs (see your history here).

You need to renew your cert with both domain names in it.

The email warning you got is about the earlier cert issued Oct11 with both names in it. So, it is correct in warning you about a problem. If you explain how you request / renew your certs we can maybe offer further advice.

Hi Mike, I don't know anything about renewing the certicate. Normally I only got an e-mail that is was renewed (maybe my formal hosting provider VIP internet did that automatically, is that possible)? I never did anything myself to renew. That's the reason why I now don't know what to do to renew...

How did you get and install the cert that is on the site now?

I got it via VIP internet, it was for free by their hosting. They installed it for me, and I think renewed it. But since 22/11 they are taken over by Your Hosting. Do you think I should contact them to renew it?

Someone requested and received a cert on Dec 10. You should contact whoever did that to have them redo it with both your domain names in it.

In the meantime, you could instruct people to use https://cadstudiogerjo.nl
That should work fine for now.

It's solved, Yourhosting heeft het certificaat geregeld en de site is nu weer normaal bereikbaar. Bedankt voor jullie hulp :+1:

That is good news.
Hopefully, they have also set it to auto-renew.
