Issue with SSL Certification Renew

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. crt.sh | example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

Hi there,

I created the SSL certificate previously with the Let's Encrypt plug in with no real issues, but have ran into problems while attempting to renew.

After various errors and going round in circles I now have no usable certificate, no token to add as a txt file to my DNS Records and the set up wizard does not even have a DNS verification step any more and just continues to fail authentication at certificate generation. Reseting Let's encrypt hasn't allowed me to solve the issue.

I have deleted previous certificate off hosting cpanel, previous txt files off dns records and would like to begin process again

Any help or guidance would be hugely appreciated

The easiest option is usually using HTTP validation instead of DNS validation - any chance you can try that? Which wordpress plugin are you using for Let's Encrypt?
