Will letsencrypt-auto be kept in the repo for backwards compatibility?

I’m on Centos 6 and the only way I’ve found to fully automate certificate installation is with letsencrypt-auto (certbot-auto requires interaction with yum where letsencrypt-auto doesn’t to be specific).

Can I expect letsencrypt-auto to continue to work and/or be included in the repository?

If not, is there a way to tell certbot to call yum with the “-y” switch?

-n (for non-interactive) will avoid any user interaction, that should auto-confirm any yum prompts even with certbot-auto.

I’m not sure what the long-term plans for letsencrypt-auto are.
