I was testing the certificate deploy script several times and now I am getting
{“type”:“urn:acme:error:rateLimited”,“detail”:“Error creating new cert :: Too many certificates already issued for: XXXX.de”,“status”:429}
Is there a way you can remove those past certificates and keep only the last one? I will not do this mistake again.
And what is the current limit for certificates under a certain domain?
There isn’t a way of resetting the limit of 5 certs per domain per 7 days, no ( it’s best to test on the staging server for that, as it doesn’t have the same limits.
Unless you deleted them though, you should still have the certificates on your box, which are still valid and you can use.
I’m just a user here, nothing to do with LE. Having said that, I’m fairly sure there isn’t a definitive answer as to what the rate limits will be. There has been various discussion, but no decision.
