Request - reset rate limit (too many certificates already issued)

Need help resetting my limit for domain - metrics-api.innrspc.com
We experienced an issue, which triggered a number of requests for new certificates, which I can see here - crt.sh | metrics-api.innrspc.com . The issue has been resolved, now I need a proper certificate.

Seeing this error from caddy alpine v2.2.1:

{"level":"error","ts":1611764565.3747075,"logger":"tls","msg":"job failed","error":"metrics-api.innrspc.com: obtaining certificate: [metrics-api.innrspc.com] Obtain: [metrics-api.innrspc.com] creating new order: request to https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/acme/new-order failed after 1 attempts: HTTP 429 urn:ietf:params:acme:error:rateLimited - Error creating new order :: too many certificates already issued for exact set of domains: metrics-api.innrspc.com: see https://letsencrypt.org/docs/rate-limits/ (ca=https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/directory)"}

Is there a way to manually reset my limit for this domain?

Thanks.

Why don't you use one of the certs that you just obtained?
I'm counting 5 certs on 1-25-21

That's not an option: there is no way to reset specific rate limits.

As @Rip already pointed out you should be able to use one of the 5 previously issued certificates without a problem.

Hi @matt_innerspaceio

please read the link shared in the error message.

There is your answer if a reset is possible.

You should also be able to use the certificate issued on either the 14th of Januari or the 13th of Januari.

If you're not planning on actually using the issued certificates or if you are still TESTING, please use the staging environment in stead of abusing resources from the production servers.

If there was a way to just reset the limits, why would there be any limits?
