@bytecamp isn’t asking about the error that you see now (which is indeed the normal error for an expired certificate), but about the exact steps that you originally used to get the certificate. There are tons of different ways to obtain and install Let’s Encrypt certificates, depending on one’s software and hosting environment. We need to know more about your environment and the method that you used to get the certificate in order to understand how you should go about renewing it.
