Need help with auto renewal crown command on hostinger hosting

I want to know how to run auto renewal of certificate every month as i don’t have root access to my premium hosting package provided by hostinger and i have installed LE Certificate using this following tool at this following URl : https://gethttpsforfree.com

My operating system is (include version): Linux

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: Hostinger

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): No

How did you apply the certificate first time ? do you have a control panel that you copy / paste the certififcate into ? Did you need to have Hostinger install it for you ? or can you upload it to your site via SFTP and install it ?

Basically, you need to follow a similar route to renew as you did to initially generate.

Hi,

  1. as i have already mentioned in my query i have used the online tool at following URL : https://gethttpsforfree.com and followed instruction given at this online tool.

  2. yes i do have control panel to copy paste certificate.

  3. no i don’t want to get this certificate installed for me by hostinger OR if they supports LE by softaculos or any other way then always welcome.

I need auto renew the certificate by automating it using cron but not having script to automate this or simply i’m not aware about cron script to automate this renewal process. your help is really appreciated.

Vinayak S.

Using gethttpsforfree.com you can’t “automate” the process as far as I’m aware. You will need to complete and copy the certificate as before.

You may be able to automate the process using an alternate client, with either the DNS challenge, or using FTP ( assuming you have ftp / SFTP access to your server.
