Maximal certificate request reached for this domain name

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. https://crt.sh/?q=example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is: sananas.synology.me

My hosting provider, if applicable, is:

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): yes

Hi @eric_sana

you have created some certificates:

https://transparencyreport.google.com/https/certificates?cert_search_auth=&cert_search_cert=p:c2FuYW5hcy5zeW5vbG9neS5tZTpmYWxzZTpmYWxzZTo6RUFFPQ&cert_search=include_expired:false;include_subdomains:false;domain:sananas.synology.me&lu=cert_search_cert

5 with one name sananas.synology.me - that hits the Rate Limits - Let's Encrypt

Duplicate Certificate limit of 5 certificates per week

Three with mailplus.sananas.synology.me + sananas.synology.me

So there is something wrong. There are new certificates created, but you don't use them.

Dear Juergen

I think it could be due to the initial setup of the SSL for the domain in which the server has submit the request but it failed to registered into the Synology Server.

Subsequently, it managed to get registered but the expiry was til Nov-18.

I then received email from Let’s Encrypt that the certificate is expiring and I tried to renew it, but again the renewal failed.

Is it possible to delete the rest certificate as I currently only use 1 certificate (mailplus.ssananas.synology.me + sananas.synology.me) that is about to expire and I was trying to renew / extend it but encountered problem.

It's not required to delete the duplicate certificates.

You have created a certificate with the two names. But the synology - menu doesn't shows this certificate.

It's more a problem how to configure synology then getting a certificate.

https://sananas.synology.me/ is good, but the certificate has only one name.

https://mailplus.sananas.synology.me/ has the wrong certificate. Looks like there is no additional configuration option to manage mailplus.sananas.synology.me

Are there more options under "Advanced"? Or is it possible to edit the synology configuration direct?

Do not know how to do that.
