Installing Let's Encrypt not possible

Hi,

My domain is: http://www.sunberry-sonnenschutz.de
I ran this command: Install Let’s Encrypt
It produced this output: There was a problem installing the certificate. Please contact support for more information.
My web server is (include version): Linux
The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): Linux
My hosting provider, if applicable, is: Siteground.com
I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): Yes
I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): No

Is domain blacklisted ?

Many thanks for your help.

search siteground on this forum as other users have had issues with their plugin

I have also updated the topic category from issuance tech to help

Hi @webberry,

I would say that the message

in this case refers to Siteground support rather than Let's Encrypt support.

If they do need our help figuring out what happened (and can supply some more background information), we'll be glad to help them.

So siteground will optionally install a let’s encrypt certificate for you, you can find information on how to do this via their cPanel here: https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/cpanel/lets-encrypt.htm
If you are experiencing a problem using the certbot command from the command line of your server, please open a ticket here: https://github.com/certbot/certbot/issues
