I got my first certs from LE in November of 2015. The automated renewal worked then, and it still works now. I don’t have to fool with it, I’ve only paid minor attention to a few details over the years, and it just continues to work. Watching the forum I keep seeing folks fussing about short expiration times, struggles with configuration, and a host of other problems. Please don’t lose sight of the fact that for the vast majority of users out there, this thing just works. Good job!
Yep, for ~2 million (as of last year) unique installations, it's not that many threads!
