found that my first LE cert came on Nov 8, 2015. It's been
issued, in various forms, automagically ever since. It really does work! I'm looking forward to the new "6-day certs" as just another incremental improvement. 73 de Bill

Always love hearing from you, Bill. Talk about upscaling... can you imagine the load for BILLIONS of certificates every 6 days? I suppose I'll have to upgrade my donation/sponsorship! (I'll have to sell the farm)

LE must have some big honkin' servers to even suggest that they can handle all that! They must also have some really astute financial folks as well, since they don't indulge the same form of almsmanship that some other folks do. LE has managed to create a community of "good guys" who offer voluntary support. In short, they are batting 1000 so far as I am concerned. Thanks for your personal involvement Rip! My professional interests are no longer present, but my hobby indulgences remain, and I fancy that my technical abilities remain somewhat relevant. T'sa Tabini Hites and enjoy your holidays!

I think they're quite modest set of servers in hardwarewise: I think security facility needed as public CA may be bigger than servers themselves.
