Certbot Configuration Testing post Install - Addition

Good day

Certbot has a post setup text, configuration message that pops-up like the below (1);

I would like to propose an additional scanner called https://inspect.rapydblok.com, that is free and is a frontend to testssl.sh.

RapydBlok INSPECT is a bootstrapped Web App, that was created to easily assist with SSL/TLS security configurations.

**Test Configuration using RapydBlok INSPECT**

**[Scan & Email results URL]** - https://inspect.rapydblok.com/search?host=https://www.letsencrypt.org&email=emailaddress@gmail.com
**[Website]** - https://inspect.rapydblok.com

(1) - Current Certbot post setup text.

Congratulations! You have successfully enabled https://inspect.rapydblok.com

You should test your configuration at:
https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=inspect.rapydblok.com

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Congratulations! Your certificate and chain have been saved at:

Thank You

Certbot actually no longer links the user to SSL Labs; the prompt was removed in v1.6.0.

At this stage, I don't think that we are going to be re-adding that kind of output.

However, this tool could be listed at Third-party-Tools to check your configuration or potentially with the other external resources on Certbot - Get Help.

No, that's not a tool to list.

Why? I don't see own, unique things. It's only a frontend of testssl.sh and the rating of ssllabs.

Thank you for the updated info

Would it be possible to add testssl.sh then and possibly include https://inspect.rapydblok.com as a frontend for easy access, in the tools list?

Thanks
