I have a Citrix Xenserver 8.2 CU1 and wondering if Lets Encrypt can be used and any info on how to do so ?
thank you

In what way are you wanting to use these together? Because there's no obvious connection I can see between a certificate authority and a hypervisor.
I am looking to use Xen Orchestra with this server for backups .. XO needs a https to connect
Maybe someone here will have experience with that but I think you are better off asking such a general question directly to their support or their community forum. See link below for index of such sources. There is also a github where you can view and report issues: Issues · vatesfr/xen-orchestra · GitHub
I searched their docs for info on certs and I only saw a couple stray forum posts about a built-in acme-client. I could not find any details about the client though. So, can't even offer further clarity on what you might need.
While I agree with Mike that the XO support channels would be the place to ask, I'd note that "certificate for Xenserver" is a completely different question from "certificate for Xen Orchestra."
Xenserver does have a certificate installation. .. right click on host from XenCenter .
This site of theirs fails when trying to connect . No certs are currently installed
So are you trying to get a cert for Xenserver, or for Xen Orchestra? In either event, whatever support channels exist for the software in question would be the place to ask.
If you're wanting a cert for the Xen Server, I don't see that you'd need one--a self-signed one would do the job.
for Xenserver .. a self signed one would be great but looking at Lets Encrypt as I have on several of my VMs .. love Lets Encrypt.
For that to work, you'd need to have either:
I'm not aware of either of these, nor do I find any with a bit of Googling. For the third time, we're going to need to refer you to whatever support channels there are for Xenserver.
