Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. https://crt.sh/?q=example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is: www.restorationwriting.com

I ran this command:I used this website https://zerossl.com. It created an verfication for me. When I tried to create folders and save the verifications in within my godaddy file manger.

It produced this output: The verfication kept failing. I would click on the link. It would take me to my website, but the word oops you have a reached this page in error.

My web server is (include version):Wordpress.org

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): I am not sure.

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: GobDaddy

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): I do not think so.

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): I am not sure

Hi,

Did you create a folder beneath the document root and named .well-known ? Then created that acme-challenge folder under .well-known?

P.S. are you on WordPress managed hosting or other type of hostings?

Thank you

Hi,

You’ll need to allow .well-known access from .htaccess…
Can you please try to see if you correctly set the permission from cPanel’s file manager?
And see if you could add rewrite rules (that allow .well-known )to .htaccess file?

Thank you
