Timeout after Certbot

I ran this command: Typed fuckebay.com and hit enter

It produced this output: Request timed out page on Firefox

My web server is (include version): Apache/2.4.29 (Ubuntu)

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): Ubuntu 18.04.1

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: AWS Lightsail

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): yes

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): no

The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you’re using Certbot): certbot 0.31.0

Hi @febaydomainseller,

I think your AWS configuration is dropping inbound HTTPS connections on port 443. You should look into your firewall settings. Your certificate and HTTPS configuration on the server are probably fine.


Oh lord, you’re right. I fixed the firewall rules and now it’s working. Thank you so much for your help!
