Not able to create CA certificate for url with ipaddress and port(like glassfish admin console)

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. https://crt.sh/?q=example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is like "ipaddress:port"
I'm currently using Eclipse Glassfish 5.1
I have created CSR using glassfish admin console and submitted in https://gethttpsforfree.com/
Later struck at Step4 which is to verify ownership where I need to login using ssh to the url which is not possible.
So, can anyone guide me through this?

Hi @divya_daka

simple answer: You can't create a certificate with an ip address via Letsencrypt.

An unique, worldwide visible domain name is required.

PS: A certificate has never informations about a port.
