I ran this command:pkg install py27-certbot

It produced this output: pkg: No packages available to install matching ‘py27-certbot’ have been found in the repositories

My web server is (include version): Apache24

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): Freenas 9.3

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): no

The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you’re using Certbot): certbot 0.8.1

that's too old. Current Certbot version is 0.33.

Please check

to find a newer version.

That is why I’m trying to update the certbot version but cannot.

My certificates stopped renewing four days ago.

If your system is too old, Certbot may be the wrong client.

Check the list of clients:

Perhaps acme.sh is an option.

I will try that and let you know how it goes.
