NETWORK SOLUTIONS Websites - Lets Encrypt Certified

#1

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better.

My domain is: streetwitnessing.org

I ran this command:none

It produced this output: none

My operating system is (include version): windows 10

My web server is (include version): network solutions

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: network solutions

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): no

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): web hosting and filezilla

so i can not find any information on putting a lets encrypt certificate onto my network solutions website. So may i request lets encrypt to set something up with network solutions to allow people who are using this hosting provider to use lets encrypt certificates?
thanks much appreciated.

Looking at networksolutions website, they only sell SSL certificates and do not allow other SSL certificates to be used on domains. That is a policy decision by them. Let’s Encrypt would happily help them to set up to use Let’s Encrypt certificates if they wanted to. If users of the service can keep asking them to support it, that’s probably the best way of getting them to change their policy.
