My domain not found

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. https://crt.sh/?q=example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

Hi @amicdeb

what does this mean? Please share a screenshot with the error message.

looks ~~ ok. Your https doesn't work, but you don't have redirects http -> https, so this isn't a problem. /.well-known/acme-challenge/random-file answers with a 404, this is good. CAA entries aren't defined.

Thank you for your support.

Please find attached requested screenshot.

Please note that although I own domain I am not yet hosted.

What does this mean? Is 184.95.38.195 your ip address?

I don't use DSM 6.2. But if I know it correct, you must allow outgoing connections explicit.

Thank you again for your support.

I’m not sure about the ip address as I am quite a novice. My DSM 6.2 allows outgoing connections since I can access it from outside my network.

I am quite lost as I simply need this certificate to enable Alexa to access my NAS.

There are only incoming connections required. Not outgoing.

There must a menu somewhere to allow outgoing connections.

I’ve done everything. I give up!
Thanks for all your patience and help.

Happy New Year

Best regards

I imagine that the problem may be that a firewall blocks outgoing connections from the Synology device. That would be consistent with what we saw from @amicdeb above.
