Letsencrypt issue with shared hosting server- Need help!

Hello Let’s Encrypt Team,

I installed let’s encrypt certificate to my domain which is hosted in a shared hosting server along with many others sites. Everything works perfectly, except Google shows my web page with another domain ( from my shared hosting server)>

For Ex, my website is www.letsencryptuser.com which works fine, but when I search lets encrypt user in google, the result is shown as https://www.anotherdomain.com with my page content (title, description) and throws a SSL error. When I proceed with the SSL error, my web page is loading in the other domain (https://anotherdomain.com).

Error in chrome is:

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www[dot]anotherdomain[dot]com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

This server could not prove that it is www[dot]anotherdomain[dot]com; its security certificate is from letsencryptuser[dot]com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection.

Please help me up how to fix this. I am losing my web page reputation and business in google search.

Hi @premcharan

If your installed certificate is valid for www.letsencryptuser.com i don't think this is an issue with the letsencrypt certificate but with the server configuration on the shared hosting server. I think your webhosting provider has to fix the entries in his server config.

The chrome error is correct because your certificate is not valid for anotherdomain.com.
