Let's Encrypt certificate expiration notice for domain

I issued a first certificate in April. I installed a script to renew my certificate.
I received a mail the 8th of July to remind me that my certificate will be out of date in 10 days (the 18th of July).
Nevertheless, when I go to my website, my certificate was issued on 1st of July and will be expired end of September. So I guess my script worked but I’m surprised to receive again this mail.

Should I do something to renew my certificate ? or it’s just automatic mail and it doesn’t check if the certificate is renewed or not ?

From https://letsencrypt.org/docs/expiration-emails/#when-you-get-an-expiration-email,

If you’ve issued a new certificate that adds or removes a name relative to your old certificate, you will get expiration email about your old certificate. If you check the certificate currently running on your website, and it shows the correct date, no further action is needed

That’s the most likely explanation in cases like these - you added or removed one or more names from your certificate.

Thanks @_az, I think it’s because of that
