Keep received emails about expiration but they are wrong

I keep getting emails telling me that my certificates are expiring in a few days, yet each of the certificates say they expire in 89 days, and when I try to renew they remain at the 89 days.

Here is a quote from the email I received today:

Your certificate (or certificates) for the names listed below will expire in
9 days (on 02 Aug 17 11:49 +0000). Please make sure to renew
your certificate before then, or visitors to your website will encounter errors.

When I try to renew them in “certify” it says “skipping renewal, existing certificate is OK”

Could the emails be wrong, or am I missing something important.

Take a look at this part of the expiration email:

In particular, note that this reminder email is still sent if you've obtained a slightly different certificate by adding or removing names. If you've replaced this certificate with a newer one that covers more or fewer names than the list above, you may be able to ignore this message.
