hi there,
we are getting invalid certificate error!
since yesterday.
Let’s Encrypt Authority X3

could you tell me how to resolve it?
this is very urgent, as it is our main company site…

We’re going to need a lot more information in order to address your problem. There are dozens of reasons that a certificate validation could fail and there are dozens of ways that people obtain or renew Let’s Encrypt certificates.

What’s your domain name?

How did you obtain and install a Let’s Encrypt certificate?

What kind of server software and/or hosting environment are you using?

What specific error or warning do people see when trying to visit the site?

thanks for your response.
i am director of NetCells Ltd in London and we run a dedicated server in US, with HostForWeb.
the main domain is netcells.net - that one is the most urgent.
but there are number of other sites on the server using LetsEncrypt.

the sites were working fine until now.

the system is:
CENTOS 7.3 x86_64 standard – server cPanel & WHM 64.0 (build 29)

the error message says:
issued to: netcells.net
issued by: Let’s Encrypt Authority X3
valid from 29/03/2017 to 27/06/2017

Your certificate has expired. It needs to be renewed, probably using the same procedure which was originally used to obtain it. Let’s Encrypt certificates expire every 90 days. Some client software that obtains them is able to automate the renewal process, which is what we recommend.

Let’s Encrypt certificates are issued automatically by machine in response to requests from client software applications. The client applications ask the certificate authority for a certificate and perform requested actions to prove their control over the domain names that the certificate will cover.

If you’re using cPanel, you might be using the Let’s Encrypt client that’s built into cPanel.
