Hello, I have 4 websites, when I use Let’s Encrypt SSL, it need a email. If my 4 websites all use Let’s Encrypt SSL but use the same email, can I do like this? Does it has quantity limits for one email can use for apply Let’s Encrypt SSL? Thank you, have a nice day
It's fine. There isn't an email address limit.
Your ACME client should only ask for your email address when registering an account, and it should only register a new account when you first install and run it on a computer. If your ACME client is registering a new account every time you create a certificate -- and if it asks for your email address every time, it may be -- you may eventually have issues with the account registration rate limits:
You can create a maximum of 10 Accounts per IP Address per 3 hours. You can create a maximum of 500 Accounts per IP Range within an IPv6 /48 per 3 hours.
For future reference, if you experience that issue, you should wait a few hours, or get your ACME client to keep using one account.
Just to be safe, which ACME client are you using, and how often is it asking for your email address?
