Failed authorization procedure. DNS Problem: NXDOMAIN looking up A for domain

Hello ! :raised_back_of_hand:
Step by step I made everything correctly until this happened...
I will really appreciate for someone's help !

My domain is: www.a4osot.com

I ran this command: sudo certbot --apache

It produced this output:

My web server is (include version): Apache/2.4.38

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): Raspbian

My hosting provider, if applicable, is:

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don't know): Yes

I'm using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel):

The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you're using Certbot): 0.31.0

Thank you ! :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @Garjoman

there are checks of your domain - https://check-your-website.server-daten.de/?q=a4osot.com

That's

Host Type IP-Address is auth. βˆ‘ Queries βˆ‘ Timeout
a4osot.com Name Error yes 1 0
www.a4osot.com Name Error yes 1 0

not your domain, that domain isn't registered.

You need a worldwide unique, registered domain you control.

Start with some required basics:

Let's Encrypt doesn't give you a domain name. You will have to register it with a domain provider first.
