Expiry date not equal expiration notice email

I’m get expiration notice email

======================================
Your certificate (or certificates) for the names listed below will expire in
20 days (on 30 Apr 18 01:19 +0000). Please make sure to renew
your certificate before then, or visitors to your website will encounter errors.

but
certbot-auto certificates
Expiry Date: 2018-07-02 17:00:25+00:00 (VALID: 83 days)

which is correct?

They should both be correct.

What's the domain?

For details about when we send these emails, please visit Expiration Emails - Let's Encrypt. In particular, note that this reminder email is still sent if you've obtained a slightly different certificate by adding or removing names. If you've replaced this certificate with a newer one that covers more or fewer names than the list above, you may be able to ignore this message.

certificate name and domain are “snurology.com

expiry date for chrome’s certificate information is 2018-07-03

Here’s a list of certificates for that domain:

https://crt.sh/?q=%snurology.com

So, what the email said above is correct.

Timeline:

  • 2018-01-30: You issued the certificate the email is talking about.
  • 2018-02-02: You issued a new certificate with a new subdomain and probably deleted the old certificate.
  • 2018-04-03: The new certificate was renewed on schedule.

You’re apparently no longer using the 2018-01-30 certificate that’s about to expire, so you can just ignore the email about it. You’ll get a couple more emails, and then they’ll stop after it expires.
