Css not working on WP new install and letsencrypt ssl

I created a droplet on Digitalocean with a one click install of Wordpress. I installed letsencrypt on the server. when I went to view the site on chrome, it just displayed the site without the css. I would like to fix this so I can continue to build out my site.

My domain is: https://thesmarterhomereview.com/

I ran this command: I installed letsencrypt on a fresh droplet with WP already installed

It produced this output: when I view the website on chrome, it just loads the html without css.

My web server is (include version): digitalocean droplet with lamp and WP

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): Unbuntu 16

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: digitalocean

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): yes

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): no

You need to change your Site URL to https://thesmarterhomereview.com, because currently it is the HTTPS version of your server’s IP address, but your certificate isn’t valid for being accessed directly via IP address, so the browser refuses to load the resources.

Not a problem with the certificate, just a misconfiguration of WordPress.
