Certificate expiring but already got HTTPS from my hosting provider

My domain is: www.hitsandmrsph.com

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: Z.com

My certificate is expiring in about a week but I got HTTPS from my hosting provider (which is different).

Background: I got a Let’s Encrypt certificate when I was with my old hosting provider. When I migrated to a new hosting (because the old one was closing down), I got HTTPS from them as well.

My question is: should I still renew my current certificate? What happens if I don’t, considering the situation above? Thanks!

You don’t have to do anything :slightly_smiling_face: You’re no longer using the Let’s Encrypt certificate, so you can just ignore the emails and let it expire.

Your new hosting is apparently using certificates from GlobalSign and automatically renewing them.

Edit: By the way, GlobalSign is a popular CA, but it’s also owned by GMO Internet.

Hey @mnordhoff! Thanks for the quick response.
