Cert renewel fails

Hi, and thanks for providing this!

domain is: fuegner.net

I ran this command: renew, part of wordpress install, extension letsencrypt

It produced this output:
Type: urn:ietf:params:acme:error:unauthorized
Status: 403
Detail: User account ID doesn’t match account ID in authorization

My web server is (include version): plesk onyx

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): CentOS Linux 7.6.1810 (Core)‬

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: 1&1

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): y

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): plesk onyx

The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you’re using Certbot): nope

I searched the error message, and found one, where the problem fixed itself (?), and one pointing to plesk as the culprit.

In case anyone has an idea, all help is welcome.

Thanks!

Hi @afmailcom

Plesk is a closed world. Looks like you have different plesk accounts or different Letsencrypt accounts.

Is there an account management you can check?

Thanks for taking an interest and helping!

Yes, there are various. Plesk has users, admins, subscribers, resellers …

The server hosts 5 domains, all with their own certificates.
The other four are fine, just the one is having a problem.

Then you may use the wrong Plesk user.

Thanks again.

Q: Are we fishing here, or do you know how to solve the issue?
