Hi, we just requested and had a rate limit increase successfully processed for our company. The email didn't mention a timeline that it might expire, so we assume it is a permanent increase (which is ideal). Do rate limit increases typically expire and if so, how long until they do?

They don't normally expire but I can't speak to whether Let's Encrypt will never remove one. Removing an allowed increase would be very disruptive to active installs so I would hope if that ever happened they would provide suitable notification.
That said, if your increase is for a specific ACME Account you must continue using that same account. Review your backup and restoration procedures to ensure continuity.
