Apache2 Ubuntu Default page after HTTP to HTTP redirect success

My domain is: www.gauderskins.trade

After my work with redirecting my website from HTTP to HTTPS my website wont load anymore. It only shows the Apache2 Ubuntu Default Page.

you have your ServerName www.gauderskins.trade in your

etc/apache2/sites-available/default-ssl.conf

not in an individual conf - file. So the standard settings are used.

I did not manually put that there. the default-ssl.conf has been made during installation of apache and letsencrypt configuration/installation?

I have no redirect? I clicked “2” during LE installation to redirect all HTTP traffic to HTTPS. And when i type in HTTP://gauderskins.trade in my search bar, it redirects to HTTPS://gauderskins.trade. But Apache2 default page loads instead of my website index.html.

This is all pretty new to me and solving a problem like this confuses me. Theres so many .conf files and i dont really know where to edit/begin to make it work.

EDIT: But before installing LE and obtaining the certificate, my website ran fine.

That's the problem. You can't check redirects with your browser, browsers cache redirects. So you don't see the same a "new user" sees.

Use online tools to check redirects.

That’s the wrong document root.

You must have one config file with the correct ServerName / Alias, the correct certificate, DocumentRoot and a redirect not-preferred-version -> preferred-version.
