How can I tell if our certificate will auto-renew? It was set up on the site by a previous developer. I see expiration is 31-Mar-2019 (Issued Dec-2019). How can I check to make sure it will auto-renew?
Thx

It depends on what software you’re using, how it’s configured, and whether it’s still working.
It’s typical to start trying to renew certificates 30 days before they expire – since it’s 15 March, that suggests it will probably not renew, either because it’s not configured to, or because something went wrong.
Or it could just have an unusual configuration that will renew it next week or something.
Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. https://crt.sh/?q=example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

Thanks… it now looks like it actually did auto on the 16th, the day after I posted the question. I didn’t realize this was a web server driven process… I thought the CA did the renewal automatically. I guess I had that backwards.
