My domain is: dc-03.com

I ran this command: /opt/certbot/certbot-auto certonly --agree-tos --standalone --standalone-supported-challenges http-01 --http-01-port 49494 -d dcloud-dna-apicem-lon.dc-03.com

It produced this output: Too many certificates already issued for: dc-03.com

My operating system is (include version): Ubuntu 16.04

My web server is (include version): HA Proxy

My hosting provider, if applicable, is:

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): yes

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): No

I’m trying to generate a cert against my domain dc-03.com, when I do this I receive an error saying too many certs have been generated. I checked https://crt.sh/?Identity=dc-03 and I don’t see any certs.

There are quite a few matches when you include all subdomains of dc-03.com - enough to trigger the rate limiting. Rate limiting works based on registered domains, defined as:

A registered domain is, generally speaking, the part of the domain you purchased from your domain name registrar. For instance, in the name www.example.com, the registered domain is example.com. In new.blog.example.co.uk, the registered domain is example.co.uk. We use the Public Suffix List to calculate the registered domain.
