I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): No

I’m trying to generate a cert against my domain dc-03.com, when I do this I receive an error saying too many certs have been generated. I checked https://crt.sh/?Identity=dc-03 and I don’t see any certs.

There are quite a few matches when you include all subdomains of dc-03.com - enough to trigger the rate limiting. Rate limiting works based on registered domains, defined as:

A registered domain is, generally speaking, the part of the domain you purchased from your domain name registrar. For instance, in the name www.example.com, the registered domain is example.com. In new.blog.example.co.uk, the registered domain is example.co.uk. We use the Public Suffix List to calculate the registered domain.
