@Nicholas, if you can, please include the HTTP server block (for reference) in this topic.
Alright, I'm back.
What's the current output of:
sudo certbot certonly --nginx -d "faruse.com,www.faruse.com" --dry-run
Also, what's the current output of:
sudo nginx -T
Hi @griffin sorry for the late reply, im guessing because of the time differences, it doesn't make things easier for me to reply as soon as theres notification.
here is the current output of sudo certbot certonly --nginx -d "faruse.com,www.faruse.com" --dry-run
:
Saving debug log to /var/log/letsencrypt/letsencrypt.log
Plugins selected: Authenticator nginx, Installer nginx
Cert not due for renewal, but simulating renewal for dry run
Simulating renewal of an existing certificate for faruse.com and www.faruse.com
Performing the following challenges:
http-01 challenge for faruse.com
http-01 challenge for www.faruse.com
Waiting for verification...

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- The dry run was successful.
and here is the output of sudo nginx -T
:

P.s. @rg305 I believe the server block is in the above output
Looking good all the way around!
You probably should remove TLSv1
and TLSv1.1
from your ssl_protocols
configuration under the SSL Settings
section of your http
block. Those protocols are considered weak.
Since the dry-run was successful, let's try this:
sudo certbot renew --force-renewal
For reference:
You might want to consider using a Cloudflare Origin CA certificate rather than a Let's Encrypt certificate since it would last much longer and be much easier to manage.
