“The operation failed. Please log in to DSM again and retry”

Hello,

On a Synology 214+ I am getting the following message when trying to create a certificate “The operation failed. Please log in to DSM again and retry”. When Looking at the messages log I see the following:

2017-03-17T17:34:40+07:00 server synoscgi_SYNO.Core.Certificate.LetsEncrypt_1_create[1942]: certificate.cpp:957 syno-letsencrypt failed. 200 [new-cert: Unexpect httpcode. (new-cert)]
2017-03-17T17:34:40+07:00 server synoscgi_SYNO.Core.Certificate.LetsEncrypt_1_create[1942]: certificate.cpp:1359 Failed to create Let'sEncrypt certificate. [200][new-cert: Unexpect httpcode. (new-cert)]

Ports 80/443 are open and forwarded to the NAS. Web Server is running and operational.
A cname record was created in server.

What is happening? Thank you for the help.

Thank you.

Answering to myself and to anyone that might encounter this problem.

The issue was that the ISP was blocking port 80. A simple request to the ISP and I was then able to go through the process of applying for a new certificate.
