SSL certification renewal

I am new to my company and I believe our SSL certification is thru you. Can you confirm? Also, I believe it is up for renewal. How do I renew?

My domain is: alliance-enviro.com

My web hosting provider is: WPEngine

Hello @marialucas, welcome to the Let's Encrypt community. :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes that domain has certificates supplied by Let's Encrypt, see here: crt.sh | alliance-enviro.com

Also here SSL Server Test: alliance-enviro.com (Powered by Qualys SSL Labs) is showing Unable to connect to the server

Also the certificate is for only www.alliance-enviro.com, not alliance-enviro.com

That totally depends on how you got the certificate in the first place. Let's Encrypt is an automated CA and only offers an API to get certificates issued using the ACME protocol. See How It Works - Let's Encrypt and Getting Started - Let's Encrypt for more info.

Note that the fact you've already have certificates issued as @Bruce5051 already has shown means you probably already have an ACME client somewhere.

If you look at the crt.sh output posted by @Bruce5051 above (note that every cert is listed twice due to the listing of pre-certificates, this link removes duplicates and is for the www subdomain only: crt.sh | www.alliance-enviro.com), it looks like the certs are renewed quite regularly, just at 68 days the last few times. This could mean everything is automated or it just happens that the sysop receives an expiry email reminder from Let's Encrypt at 22 days before the cert expires and just happens to renew it immediately, I dunno..

I would think that you would want your ACME client to do automatic renewals for you. Also see: Getting Started - Let's Encrypt
