Self signed default in whm

hi,
i recently loaded lets encrypt with auto ssl on my whm server version:
CENTOS 7.4 hyper-v |v68.0.26
All certificates default to self-signed.
previously i had to delete the redicrection from subdomain setup and redirect again using same address and it would then show up as lets encrypt?
is there anything i am doing wrong or is this a potential bug or integration issue with cpanel?
thanks,
darryn

Hi,

Please check this post from Cpanel forum.
https://forums.cpanel.net/threads/how-to-have-a-root-ssl-letsencrypt-for-cpanel-hostname.597387/

This shows that the autossl feature is not compatible with server hostname(aka your server name)

This seems to be an integration issue fro Cpanel (as they want you to use their free comodo ssl).
In the meantime, you can use websites like sslforfree.com to obtain a cert or use Cpanel suggest free ssl (https://confluence1.cpanel.net/plugins/servlet/mobile?contentId=2450649#content/view/2450649)

Thanks.
