Not clear on rate limit

I’m trying to understand how the rate limit works. I need to generate certificates on the fly for multilevel subdomains that I do not know before hand. (ex: https://yourdomain.com.mydomain.com)

Right now I’m getting stuck at 50 domains a week against my base domain. I just want to understand is this the limit? or Can I stack as the docs talk about, based on the url pattern I mentioned above?
Any help is appreciated

Hi @peteb

you may use a higher limit:

If you are a large hosting provider or organization working on a Let’s Encrypt integration, we have a rate limiting form that can be used to request a higher rate limit. It takes a few weeks to process requests, so this form is not suitable if you just need to reset a rate limit faster than it resets on its own.

But that

yourdomain.com.mydomain.com

looks like a typical phishing domain.

Hi @JuergenAuer - Thank you, I’ll use the form. Agreed on the domain and it looking like phishing, I can explain in the form what we are doing.
