Letsencrypt renewal failed on both manual and auto

I am battling to renew a letsencrypt ssl certificate. I’ve checked the log files and the ownerships to the folders. Everything is looking correct. I’ve checked that the server and folders can be accessed from the outside world.
Server is Linux version 3.10.0-957.21.3.el7.x86_64 (mockbuild@kbuilder.bsys.centos.org)
Running apache httpd and tomcat

on renewal it says:
MPORTANT NOTES:

Please can I get some assistance on this one
Kind regards
Duane

Hi @dashwell

checking your domain there is a redirect http -> https and a not working https - https://check-your-website.server-daten.de/?q=portal.sadilar.org

So fix your not working https or remove the redirect, so http answers. Fixing a not working http status 500 isn’t a certificate problem.

What command did you run? What was the complete output?

That’s the kernel version, but what is the OS?

Problem has been resolved. There was an internal conflict in the apache conf files. The OS was CentOS 7.0

Thank you for your advice. I was able to run an strace on the httpd requests. Managed to find the fault.
