Lets Encrypt enabled for 24 hrs but not showing in browser window

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. https://crt.sh/?q=example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is: swarmcatcher.co.uk

My hosting provider, if applicable, is: Vidahost

I can login to a root shell on my machine : i don’t know - i can ftp and upload files to wordpress directory

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): yes - vidahost but can’t find details of it

Hi @swarmcatcher,

Your site is providing the right certificate but you are not seeing a green padlock because your site is serving mixed content, it is, some resources, like images are being served using http instead of https and when you visit an https site, all the contents should be served using https.

You can take a look to this link to know what are the detected resources being served using http:.

Also, take a look to below link, it explains several methods to resolve your issue.

Good luck,
sahsanu

I would recommend you to use Cloudflare’s Automatic https rewrite, It would help you with your website with just one click and never ever do anything again! :grinning:
But also remember that some contents can’t be served to https so you will be stuck with your mixed content problem unless you reset your website or remove the HTTP content.
