Let’s Encrypt Certificate Expired - how to renew it

I have a synology nas and it is using a let’s encrypt certificate for DDNS.
I received an email that my certificate has expired.
I checked with my nas and confirmed it.

Is there a way to renew it again or do I need to delete it and create a new DDNS service ?

Hi @vasse3, welcome to the LE community forum

You confirmed that it has expired?

Yes, you should be able to renew it - without having to delete, nor recreating, anything.

I don’t get the option to renew it through the nas anymore. ( before expiration there is a renewal option in the dsm sw, now it is gone)
Is it something you have to do from your side?

Welcome to the Let's Encrypt Community, Vasilis :slightly_smiling_face:

There's no actual difference between a "renewal" certificate and a new certificate covering the same domain names, so just issue a new certificate and you'll be fine.

No.

Is the DDNS IP correct?
