Kenia SLD vs publicsuffix list?

My domain is:
schulz.ke, www.schulz.ke

Problem output:
Error creating new authz :: Name is an ICANN TLD

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don't know):
Yes

I'm using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel):
No

Problem seems similar to:

Background:

Kenia SLD (so Level 2) is available to the general public only since roughly a week. Before that only Level 3 could be registered. Obviously that was not yet reflected. Based on the linked issue above I think it might not be directly a problem with letsencrypt but more with the publicsuffix list..?

So what do I need to do or who do I need to contact to resolve this?

Thanks a lot in advance!

The Public Suffix List was updated this week.

https://github.com/publicsuffix/list/commit/7f94647c4317580ec6fe99576c27367cc5ac76fb

The publicsuffix-go library was updated this week.

https://github.com/weppos/publicsuffix-go/commit/7881288a8a3d24d7ae2add26fea4111e8a189516

And Let’s Encrypt’s Boulder software was updated this week.

https://github.com/letsencrypt/boulder/commit/308a4f4d450c69bdefc69bdc88930f5439062a4c

So the preparations have been taken care of. You just have to wait for Let’s Encrypt to deploy the new changes.

I’d guess they will probably deploy it February 1 or February 8, but I don’t know for sure.

Unless something unexpected comes up it should go to production Feb 1st.
