Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. https://crt.sh/?q=example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.
My domain is: miljopalatset.se
I ran this command: sudo ee site update www.domän.se --letsencrypt=on
It produced this output: Connection error
My web server is (include version): Linode
The operating system my web server runs on is (include version): Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Linux, Nginx
My hosting provider, if applicable, is:
I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know): Yes
I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel):
www.miljopalatset.se and miljopalatset.se point to different IP addresses and are hosted by different providers. If you’re running your ee command on the www.miljopalatset.se server, it will have no effect on the other one because it’s a physically separate server.
If you reconcile this somehow, then you should be able to get things to work.
In either case, it may be necessary to get the hosting provider’s cooperation to ensure that inbound port 443 connections are not blocked by a firewall.
I have got a respond for their agency that handles their domains and I have attached an image saying that both www and without is pointing to the correct IP?
