How to use authenticate with a DNS record?

The page here https://letsencrypt.org/howitworks/technology/ says that we can authenticate by provisioning a DNS record, but I can’t figure out how. Is there a plugin that is needed?

not yet implemented AFAIK - it’s public beta for a reason :slight_smile:

It’s actually implemented on the server side but not enabled yet. See this thread and this thread too.
