I noticed this PR was merged recently, adding support for the dns-01 challenge to the cerbot/letsencrypt client. Is there any documentation for how to use this or how it works outside of the code? Looking forward to using the new challenge but just confused on how it works.
The PR added DNS-01-support to the ACME client. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean (as far as I know) that certbot itself can use it. The certbot code uses the ACME client to communicate with an ACME server, but needs the code to do that.
So this is one step in the direction of using the DNS-01-challenge in certbot, but isn’t there just yet.
