I am use to install SSL with cpanel without the need to install special software or using the hosting provider’s support. why is it so complicated here? can someone help me figure out where to start?
(and I do read the getting started page and it got me very confused)
My domain is: http://www.levinski-ofer.co.il/
I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel): cpanel
You’ll need to check if your hosting provider have such features enbaled by default first. If your cpanel have Let’s Encrypt icon or a SSL/TLS status icon, you could easily get your certificate by following the instructions on there.
If there’s no such icon and you know your provider does not have it, read the below lines.
If you don’t want to install special softwares and want to just get a single certificate every 90 days (manually), you could use sslforfree.com or zerossl.com to obtain it and install that manually.
I do have a SSL/TLS manage area in my cpanel.
(thats what I am usually using)
how do I use it with Let’s Encrypt?
