How long until cert limit is reset?

I get too many certificates already issued for exact set of domains: ….elasticbeanstalk.com because I set up my docker containers wrong, and the cert was deleted on boot every time.

Now the issue is resolved but the limit is reached. How long will I have to wait until another cert is issued? The limits page is not clear about this…

Some limit seems to be reached by 10 certs. But on the limits page https://letsencrypt.org/docs/rate-limits/ it only lists:

  • 50 per week (>10)
  • 5 duplicate per week (<10)
  • 5 failures (<10)
  • 10 accounts per 3 hours

So when will I be able to request a cert again?

We also have a Duplicate Certificate limit of 5 certificates per week. A certificate is considered a duplicate of an earlier certificate if they contain the exact same set of hostnames, ignoring capitalization and ordering of hostnames.

You can use https://tools.letsdebug.net/cert-search to get an exact time for the duplicate certificate limit for any domain.
