Limited certificates

Hi, I was about to start my e-commerce and I had to do a lot of tests and I finished the certificates. Unfortunately I did not know that they are limited. Although I have not used 50 certificates .....

THIS IS THE ERROR

Invalid response from https://acme-v01.api.letsencrypt.org/acme/new-cert.
Details:
Type: urn:acme:error:rateLimited
Status: 429
Detail: Error creating new cert :: too many certificates already issued for exact set of domains: greenareact.it,www.greenareact.it: see Rate Limits - Let's Encrypt

My domain is greenareact.it can I receive a certificate? Instead of waiting a week it would be a blow to my ecommerce without SSL.

Rate Limits - Let's Encrypt :

We also have a Duplicate Certificate limit of 5 certificates per week. A certificate is considered a duplicate of an earlier certificate if they contain the exact same set of hostnames

crt.sh | greenareact.it shows you (or someone else) did generate 5 certificate this week.

Could you answer the following question so we can help you?

I ran this command:

It produced this output:

My web server is (include version):

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version):

My hosting provider, if applicable, is:

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don't know):

I'm using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel):

Testing should have been done on the staging server.

In the future, for whatever project you're doing, please read the documentation of said project carefully. On the Getting Started documentation page, it makes a reference to said staging environment.

I apologize for the confusion I made but I did not know it.
I request certificates through Plesk my hoster is VHosting. Is there no other solution besides waiting for a week? Unfortunately, those certificates that I have created, I no longer have them removed.

If you can add another (sub)domain to the set of hostnames already used, the certificate would count for the limit called "Certificates per Registered Domain", which has a limit of 50 per week. It would allow you to issue a new certificate.

Ok, Iā€™m sorry for my ignorance. I created a subdomain ssl.greenareact.it I issued the certificate for the subdomain and now I attach it to greenareact.it right?

Hi @GreenAreaCT

sorry, but this is wrong.

Your certificate:

has only one domain name:

X509v3 Subject Alternative Name: DNS:ssl.greenareact.it

So you can use it only with this subdomain ssl.greenareact.it

You can (partial) ignore the limit if you create one certificate with a new set of domain names.

So you need one certificate with all your old names and the ssl - domain name.
