How Do I create/obtain SSL?

Please fill out the fields below so we can help you better. Note: you must provide your domain name to get help. Domain names for issued certificates are all made public in Certificate Transparency logs (e.g. https://crt.sh/?q=example.com), so withholding your domain name here does not increase secrecy, but only makes it harder for us to provide help.

My domain is:
www.stellaresultscoaching.com.ua

I ran this command:

It produced this output:

My web server is (include version):

The operating system my web server runs on is (include version):

My hosting provider, if applicable, is:
Crazy domains

I can login to a root shell on my machine (yes or no, or I don’t know):
i dont know

I’m using a control panel to manage my site (no, or provide the name and version of the control panel):
cpanel
The version of my client is (e.g. output of certbot --version or certbot-auto --version if you’re using Certbot):

There are many ways to obtain an SSL cert.
The simplest is to find a client that can install on your operating system and that can integrate with your web server.

I have noticed my website is not secure.

I have connected Crazy Domains as they host & manage my website however they have told me I need to obtain a SSL and give them the details

I don’t know how to obtain SSL

Are you able to help me?

Do you have root access to the server that runs your website?

OR

Do you manage your site through a control panel?

Hi there,

Via cPanel

Hi @Stella321

that domain name isn't registered, see https://check-your-website.server-daten.de/?q=stellaresultscoaching.com.ua

Host Type IP-Address is auth. ∑ Queries ∑ Timeout
stellaresultscoaching.com.ua Name Error yes 1 0
www.stellaresultscoaching.com.ua Name Error yes 1 0
*.stellaresultscoaching.com.ua A Name Error yes
AAAA Name Error yes
CNAME Name Error yes

No name servers, no SOA. So

  • it's a typo (or)
  • you are not the domain owner, so you can't create a certificate with that domain name.

Sorry typo

If your cPanel has an integrated solution, use that.

But Crazy Domains sells Ssl certificates - https://www.crazydomains.com/ssl-certificates/

Ask there if they support Letsencrypt certificates. If not, an automated solution is impossible.

If your hoster doesn’t support that, you have to change your hoster.
