Error lets encrypt installation

#1

i tried to install let’s encrypt on www.mistralmusic.nl after several times setup new by failures i got now this message can can i solved this

An unexpected error occurred:
There were too many requests of a given type :: Error creating new cert :: Too many certificates already issued for exact set of domains: mistralmusic.nl
Please see the logfiles in /usr/local/psa/var/modules/letsencrypt/logs for more details.

You successfully obtained certificates for the domain (mistralmusic.nl), and reached the limit of 5 certificates / week for that domain - see documentation on rate limits. Your certificates are almost certainly on your server in /etc/letsencrypt/live/mistralmusic.nl/ (assuming you used certbot to obtain the certificates) so you should use one you already have, rather than trying to generate more.

If you explain what you were trying to do - what commands you used and what errors you were having before, then wwe may be able to help you set things correctly, so that when your rate limit expires next week you can have everything working properly.

To be pedantic, going by the recent Certificate Transparency records, earlier this week six certificates were issued for mistralmusic.nl and zero for www.mistralmusic.nl. In a certificate, the two hostnames are not equivalent.

I agree they aren’t equivalent - the error though was

not www.mistralmusic.nl. Hence asking what commands were being used, and what Onwijz was trying to do.

#5

Yeah. I wasn’t disagreeing with you. Onwijz mentioned both names in their first post.

Thats right… let’s encrypt in my Plesk Onyx damaged again and again by setting up migrating websites to new server all my layouts!!!

So i have to try it again and again, now i am very mad and want not to setup let’s encrypt anymore because it cost me last days sleepless nights

Are you using a letscencrypt plugin for plesk ? or are you using certbot ? running two different things that modify your apache config ( such as certbot and plesk) can cause issues.

If you could provide as much information as possible, then we can can provide information to help you for your specific situation.
